    The VBCO was created in 2005, performing our first concert in 2008. We are a multi-generational group of local volunteer musicians who present two free concerts to the Vero Beach community each year.

    We are committed to achieving the highest level of musicality in our performances. Our band boasts a mix of professional musicians and hobbyists who play for the sheer joy, pleasure, and camaraderie of it. We are proud to have several long-time members who have played together for over 20 years, as well as members over 80 years young.

    The mission of the Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society is to promote the growth, appreciation and performance of Jazz and Blues ~ two great American Music Art Forms ~ through annual scholarship awards, educational workshops, clinics and master classes, weekly jazz jams, tri-annual Waterside Blues Festivals, Mardi Gras and Jazz Week celebrations and community outreach programs.
